The brief

Chiswick House and Gardens commissioned Goss Consultancy Ltd (GCL) to carry out an Access Review of their house and gardens.

Our approach

GCL:

  • Carried out a Walk & Talk Access Review of Chiswick House and areas of the gardens, with a particular focus on the primary routes to key areas in the grounds.
  • Produced a report and draft Access Action Plan.
  • Provided CPD accredited Access Training to key Customer Service and Facilities Management staff at Chiswick House and Gardens.

What the client said

"The recent Access Review of Chiswick House and Gardens was a totally positive, professional and constructive experience that gave us confidence in the areas we were getting right and the appropriate direction, guidance and encouragement on what we needed to think about going forward. We had worried that our visitor experience was hugely inaccessible due to the nature of our building, but the report gave us confidence that the steps we had already taken, together with those that we were considering making, would make a tangible difference for our visitors. Both the process and the report motivated all concerned and added to our enthusiasm to deliver an accessible and inclusive visitor experience."
