GCL Training: Neurodiversity 101

Discussion forum

It is estimated that 1 in 7 people in the UK, nearly 15% of the population, are neurodiverse although it is not always the case that people who have a neurodiverse profile know they have one.
Neurodiversity is still a relatively recent concept covering a range of neurological conditions or labels including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Developmental Language Disorder. This course provides delegates with an awareness of what a neurodiverse diagnosis or profiles consist of, what they mean and how an inclusive approach can be taken to enable and empower neurodiverse leaders, colleagues, customers and visitors.

Who should attend?

Anyone in any organisation with potential colleagues, visitors or customers with neurodiversity.

What our delegates say

"The training taught me that adaptations that help those with neurodiverse profiles often help neurotypical people too- everyone wins!"

"The main take away from the training was a better understanding of neurodiversity and myself!"

100% of delegates would recommend this session to a friend - Media Molecule.

The pre-material is available online in all formats, but alternative format material can be provided on request. If helpful, participants can confidentially contact the presenter to give any indications about the neurodiverse challenges and opportunities from their neurodiverse perspective.
