GCL Training: United in Effective Home Working Webinar

Virtual meeting on laptop

Is your team getting to grips with working from home?
How are members of your team coming to terms with the change to their work/life balance, to effective communication and collaborative working whilst working from home? This interactive 40-minute webinar will help you assess how your team is getting on and ready your team for sustained and productive engagement whilst ensuring they are able to focus on their home commitments.

Who should attend?

Team members with team managers.

Course overview

Our webinars will be tailored to your requirements, but key subjects covered include:

  • Advice on setting up at home
  • Developing a routine
  • Avoiding the pitfalls of home working
  • Effective communication
  • Looking after your wellbeing

This package includes a Team Leader orientation call which is an opportunity for the trainer to understand the team's role, dynamics and culture.

What will I gain?

The chance to review remote working arrangements, learn about best evidenced practice for life work/balance and have the chance to discuss how remote working is or isn't working. Attendance will lead to a plan for making remote working work for you and your colleagues.

Our training style

Our training is designed to inspire, encourage, motivate and support both personal and organisational development.

We pride ourselves on a training style that is highly interactive, engaging (where appropriate using humour) and specific to an organisation's particular culture.

All GCL training includes case studies and practical examples of relevant case law and provides ample opportunity for group discussion and questions.

What our delegates say

I thought the session was spot on and a great way to start the transition to working from home. It was really useful, even for those who consider themselves experienced home workers. I was reminded that it is also crucial to consider how to manage our people and ourselves remotely too.
